Raymond Sexton-The Tangible PM

YOUR REGIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

With four decades of experience in multiple countries, Raymond now is based in Dunolly in the Central Goldfields quietly progressing his family’s restoration project with his wife Allison.

He also has been performing the part-time role of Senior Project Manager in the Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities at Mount Alexander Shire Council in Central Victoria. In the role since early November 2020, he has progressively become familiar with the various systems and procedures used in delivering projects for the Council in line with Victorian State legislation and requirements.

His interest in regional projects is driven by some life changing events in the last number of years as he returned to Australia after 22 years in Ireland. His journey towards Victoria was triggered by his Melbourne born wife securing a Senior Role in a healthcare facility in Melbourne.

Then in 2020 they purchased a rural property in Dunolly including an old cottage needing renovation. Between the newly discovered joy of the Victorian countryside, his growing interest in the environment and local Indigenous and Colonial heritage he is enthused by any opportunity to both enjoy the rural lifestyle and make a positive impact on the regional community.

Finally, let us say that he is a devout believer in consultation and meaningful dialogue with all stakeholders, as we make our environment, and our environment makes us. This is why he really loves the idea of engaging further with regional projects and community stakeholders.

He is very well qualified and experienced with a particular interest in early stage projects and projects that have become snared or in an administrative quagmire.
